David Tucker, DACM, EAMP

Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine

East Asian Medicine Practitioner

  • I see myself as truly fortunate that what I'm most passionate about is also what I get to do for a living. In the summer of 2001, I left the dot-com industry to go live at a Buddhist Zen Center. It was there my life clicked into place. I discovered Zen meditation, martial arts, and Chinese Medicine, which has become the trifecta of my life that continually nourishes and guides me to this day.

I did my TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) training, receiving a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University (2005) and my massage training through the Brenneke School of Massage (2003). My clinical residency in Chinese Medicine was finished in Shanghai, China, completing shifts in internal medicine, psychiatry and trauma. More recently, I received my Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (2021).

In pursuit of wanting to work with what felt like a deeper and more holistic system of Chinese Medicine, I sought out Classical Five Element Acupuncture (CFEA), training in Portland, OR and San Francisco, CA for an additional three years of study (2004-2007). I continue to study Worsley Five Element Acupuncture (WFEA) through the Worsley Institute and have the honor of learning from the inheritor of this lineage, Judy Worsley.

On a more personal note, I have been a practicing Zen Buddhist since 2001, having lived at Buddhist Zen Centers on the east and west coasts, practicing in both the Japanese and Korean traditions of Zen. I received my Buddhist name "Won Shim" meaning "Original Mind", in 2007 under Zen Master Ji Bong. In my free time, I train in multiple martial arts, play various musical instruments, speak Spanish, and most importantly, strive each day to be a more present father/stepfather and husband.

  • My practice utilizes powerful systems of medicine such as Classical Five-Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, along with bodywork, point injection therapy, and Zen practices, to help patients heal no matter where they are in their journey. For almost 20 years, I have worked with people of all ages, struggling with injury rehabilitation, stress management, acute/chronic pain, anxiety/depression to a wide range of chronic illnesses. I specialize in working with the mental-emotional-spiritual root causes as to why the body isn’t healing itself, and am passionate about offering people the tools which will allow their body/mind to do what they were meant to do naturally.

Jayne DuBois, ND

Naturopathic Doctor

  • Dr. DuBois’ philosophy of care operates from the idea that illness is never random, and physical health is fundamentally connected to emotional health. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation on which all of the magic happens - a patient must feel comfortable enough to tell the truth about what is really going on and trust the doctor they are working with in order to do any productive healing work. Dr. DuBois strives to treat the doctor/patient relationship as a collaborative effort and use every interaction with a patient as an opportunity to provide trauma-informed care and prioritize social justice.

Dr. DuBois stumbled into a career in massage therapy by discovering how effective it was for athletic injuries as an adolescent. She graduated from the Brian Utting School of Massage in 2006, specializing in deep tissue massage and injury treatment. She went on to become certified in craniosacral therapy in 2008, including advanced training in intra-oral massage. She completed pre-medicine studies and undergraduate work in cultural anthropology at Columbia University, graduating in 2012.

Dr. DuBois graduated from Bastyr University in 2018, with advanced training in constitutional homeopathy and IV therapy. She spent her first year of practice as a primary care physician in a partial hospital psychiatric treatment center. This was followed by a fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Paul Anderson, where she specialized in procedures such as IV therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy in treatment of complex chronic illness and integrative cancer care. Dr. DuBois spent her COVID quarantine year becoming certified in clinical hypnotherapy and completing an additional residency at Full Circle Natural Medicine, where she provided a naturopathic approach to primary care, complex chronic disease, and mental health.

  • I focus on naturopathic mental health and gastrointestinal health, utilizing craniosacral therapy, hypnotherapy and constitutional homeopathy as additional modalities.

Katy Grace Ball, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist

  • I have been in practice for over 20 years here in Seattle, and when I was Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2015, I was able to turn my own health around through the individually tailored process I guide my patients through. It was then that I began to truly understand that there is not a “one size” fits all approach to health care, and that stoping, calming and resting are the preconditions to healing. By approaching my work from that wisdom I have been able to blend my modalities to create a space to deeply listen to my patients needs to help them navigate a path to vibrant and sustainable health. I am deeply passionate about assisting people on their journey to live in a state of balanced functional health, by helping them find wellness with the foundational tools that feed the body well on and off the plate. Working with me allows patients to ground back into their bodies with therapeutic massage, to be well fed through nutrition coaching, and find freedom of movement with yoga. When the root cause of stress is freed from our body, our bodies innate intelligence to heal can flourish.

-Certified Nutrition Coach specializing in a whole food approach to autoimmune conditions, digestive, hormonal and mental health

    - Nutrition Response Testing, Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Anna Gray Baker, MA, LPC, LMHC

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Licensed Professional Counselor

  • I have honed my expertise through various specialized training. Some areas of focus are in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), with couples and families. I have training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which helps individuals to resolve and manage trauma and distressing experiences. My goal every session is to create a safe place for you to explore understanding yourself and these toxic cycles. Working with me with you will feel more connected with yourself and others. We will look into the dark places together, the places you felt shame around when you went there alone, and you will feel the warmth of empathy connecting with another human there. It is hard work and just you being here looking for help already shows me the resilience that we will work with and further reveal.

My passion is for helping people to develop insight and tools while experiencing vulnerability in a healing re-corrective way. Much of my work and that passion is influenced by my belief in a good God; however, how much (if at all) we discuss faith and spirituality is totally directed by you. With every client and situation, safety is the top priority. I take a curious, non-judgmental approach and intersectional lens, which provides acceptance and understanding of where a person is, with respect to faith, religious beliefs, sexuality, race, gender, body size, ability and socio-economic status.

  • You may be feeling like you are caught in a cycle that ends in frustration and pain. It is EXHAUSTING. Cycles within ourselves, with our partners, our kids, work and friends. Life starts to feel really vicious. If you are feeling beatdown and stuck, I'm ready to help. Whether I am working with you as an individual, couple, or family, I want to start by helping to loosen the loneliness that happens when we go through suffering.
